Big karate promotion this morning.
Lily moved up to brown belt and Phoebe got a green tip towards her second degree black belt.
They also broke some boards. Yeah, I wouldn’t mess with them 🙂
Fun at grandma’s with baby niece:
This book was a cool thrift store find for the classroom. Only $5,25, originally $21.99. Very interactive and perfect for shelf work or cultural study of Egypt. Phoebe was fascinated by it as well. One benefit of having a teacher-mom: getting to try out all the things I want to do in class!
Time to feed the fam -linguine with pesto on tonight’s menu.
